Securing Your Medication With LockMed Giveaway

It’s scary imagining your children or teens getting into your medication.  We know to keep our meds in high cabinets out of the reach of smaller children, but we don’t even think about our products when we travel or  teenage prescription drug  abuse.  According to a study published in Reuters, one in eight older teenagers has used powerful painkiller drugs without a prescription, meaning they get them from family or friends with prescriptions.

LockMedWhen David of LockMed contacted me about sharing their products with my readers, I have to say I never thought about locking up my prescriptions.  We have the occasional prescription here or there, where it’s a one-time/no-refill and we finish it all.   There are many households with on-going presciptions.

LockMed carries lock boxes and bags  that can be used to secure medications at home, school, work and when traveling.  Both are lightweight and sized to carry a variety of bottle sizes.  Be warned, these products aren’t indestructible, but definitely stand their own under normal wear and tear, and  you will know if someone has been tampering with it.

LockMed LockBag giveawayToday’s giveaway is one lucky reader’s choice of LockMed’s key or combination LockBag. It is a laminated nylon bag, approximately 7.5 in x 5 in, lightweight and easily fits into purses, diaper bags or luggage to take on road trips, school, work, vacations, hospital visits, or to the doctor’s office, and holds about 7 prescription bottles.
