Strawberry Smoothie Treats With Lucky Leaf

strawberry fruit smoothies Lucky LeafIf you are looking for a great summer treat and a way to sneak in healthy stuff, Lucky Leaf has the perfect recipe with their fruit smoothies!  I love whipping these up, they get drunk up lickety split! The recipe calls for any flavor of their pie fillings (I’ve made them in blueberry) and today, I’m sharing it in strawberry.

What you need:
1 21-oz can Lucky Leaf Premium Pie Filling in strawberry
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 banana, sliced
sliced strawberries for garnish
crushed ice

1. In a blender, combine the pie filling, yogurt and banana. Cover and blend until smooth.

2. Add crushed ice, a little at a time until desired consistency. Pour into glasses, top off with a strawberry slice, and a paper straw, if you like.

Lucky Leaf Strawberry Smoothie popsAnother fun option is to turn them into frozen smoothie pops.  Just pour the mixture into your favorite molds, freeze and enjoy. Oh yes, those are push pop containers… score your own from CupKate’s Event Design.

Strawberries Lemonade Park PartyAnd speaking of strawberries (and shameless promotion),  enjoy a day at the park with easy and budget-friendly ideas with a Strawberries And Lemonade Party I created for Design Dazzle.
