The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) isn’t just for adult movie-lovers. The festival’s Films4Families program will include seven brand new feature-length films, including the first Seattle screening of Brave, Disney/Pixar’s much anticipated film about exploits of the Scottish princess Merida.
The 38th annual festival, one of the largest in the United States, runs May 17 to June 10. Along with overseeing the festival’s family-friendly film selections, SIFF’s Films4Families program screens classic family films each weekend throughout the year and is a celebration of the whole family coming together to share the movie-going experience.
Check out the 2012 Festival lineup, featuring some of the best children’s features and shorts from around the world, in both live action and animation. Seattle families will be among the first audiences to enjoy a select few of these creative treasures.
