Can you believe we have to start thinking about keeping the kids busy for Spring Break, then yikes, summer break? If you are planning on staying local, there are great camps being held all over the Sound for all ages, interests and budgets! Many of them have midwinter break options as well.
Arena Sports has locations in Redmond and Magnuson and will keep kids active and burning energy busy with activities, arts and crafts, and get the chance to play games like Scrimmage Soccer and Dodgeball!
The Pacific Science Center has you covered at both the Seattle location and the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue. Join their Camps For Curious Minds, which has varied camps from Geocaching to Slough Survival and Robotic Rangers.
Camp Splash at Lynnwood’s Recreation Center is a guaranteed bet; kids get to spend the day swimming and learning how to be safe in the water.
Woodland Park Zoo’s Zooper Day Camp offers half day camps for 4-6 year olds and all day sessions for 5-9 year olds to learn and explore about animals and their habitats.
We’ve always loved attending Everett’s Imagine Children’s Museum camps; campers can start as early as 3 years (potty trained) through 5th grade. Every day offers a new camp so you can pick and choose one or all camps.
