It’s Octupus Week at the Seattle Aquarium, through next Sunday, February 26. There will be hands-on activities for kids, octopus feedings, divers swimming with an octopus and talks happening each day.
To mark this momentous occasion, I thought it would be perfectly fitting to share some fun party ideas if you have a budding teuthologist.
Handmade invites like these from Nest Full Of Eggs set the tone perfectly.
Make this balloon centerpiece from One Charming Party the star of your party table, or hang several around the party space among blue streamers.
CupKate’s Event Design’s octopops are darling!
Octodogs are so easy to make, I’ve made them so many times. Just cut slits for legs in an uncooked wiener and drop into boiling water, the legs will curl right before your eyes!
Of course you must make these Tentacle Pot Pies from l0cal gal Not Martha featured on Babble.
Make them yourself or kill two birds with one stone. Keep them busy by setting out all the goodies and have guests make these cupcakes from Disney’s Family.com.
Wash it all down with this octopus punch from Better Homes & Garden.
