Argosy Christmas Ship

Redmond Town Center: Holiday Express Train

Need something fun to do with the kids this week while they count down the days to Christmas?  Head to Redmond Town Center and take a ride on the Holiday Express Train!  The train gives you a little tour of the shopping area, so you can rest for a bit while the kids can take it all in.

Runs daily until December 24 from noon until 8pm.

{Christmas Eve hours will be from 10am-4pm}

Cost is $3 per person and the train boards at NE 74th & 164th Ave NE, Redmond.

Argosy Christmas Ship Festival

Take the family to to see the Christmas Ship and revel in the twinkling lights and singing carolers.  The boat stops at several different waterfront communities, so check their site to find out where it will be on different nights.  The ship sails through December 23.

Though tickets to ride on the ship may be sold out, you can still join in on the holiday fun on shore, where spectators view the lights, join in the caroling, and some locations even have merry bonfires.

Mrs. Claus at The Pink Door

I have scoured the Internet looking for information about this event, but I’m thinking you are better off calling the restaurant directly.  I first found this event here, and though I’ve never attended and my kids are probably a tad too young, it does sound fun.

Come for some lunch and check out a cool trapeze performance by Mrs. Claus herself while you dine.  Kids are welcome and can even chat with Mrs. Claus and take some pictures with her afterwards.   Food does not disappoint with six different Panini sandwiches to choose from and a yummy butterscotch Italian pudding for dessert.  Yum!

Going on until December 23 from noon – 2pm.

Where: The Pink Door, 1919 Post Alley, Seattle; 206-443-3241.
