Weekend Fun: University Village Sidewalk Sale

Who doesn’t love a good deal?  I can’t think of anyone.  I love me some discounted goods.  You can’t help but find some good shopping at the U. Village Sidewalk Sale this weekend.  Over 40 stores and restaurants will be providing great deals for you, so get yourself down to Seattle for this shopping extravaganza.

Rain or shine (let’s be optimistic and go with “shine”), merchants will showcase their inventory on the sidewalks of the Village.  Imagine the breeze blowing through your hair as you leisurely stroll the walkways, perusing the amazing deals that are to be had.  OK, let’s be realistic.  If you’re like me, you may be keeping tabs on a few little people that aren’t as fond of shopping as you might be.  That’s OK – it’s a SIDEWALK sale…you don’t even have to actually be in the store.  Perfect.  Or better yet, put your partner on nap duty and take a few hours for yourself.

If you aren’t familiar with U. Village, it is an open-air shopping experience with shopping fun for everyone.  You will find Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, The Land of Nod, Lululemon, Papyrus, Storables, Something Silver, and the list goes on and on.  I should also mention all the great places to eat, as well.  Grab lunch at The Ram, Delfino’s Pizza (a personal college fave), or Blue C Sushi.  If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by Trophy Cupcakes (yum) or Fran’s Chocolates.

If you have little ones in tow, there are little water fountains throughout the Village that kids flock to (they are pretty mesmerizing), as well as a small play area near Kid’s Club, a children’s specialty store.

See you at the Village!

Great blog! Sorry to get off subject, but since Nashville is a big up and coming city, I’d like to find a great sushi restaurant or Japanese restaurant in Nashville TN. Have you heard of any good ones? There’s a new one called Nomzilla Sushi Et Cetera, but I’ve only seen a few reviews. Here’s the address of this new Nashville Sushi Restaurant , 1201 Villa Place, Suite 101 Nashville, TN 37212 – (615) 268-1424. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
